Domain architecture & management
The technical foundation of your online identity — domains, DNS, certificates, redirects and email authentication — made correct, documented and monitored. You keep ownership.
Why it matters
Most visibility problems that hurt the most aren't content problems. They're an expired domain, a migration without redirects, a www and apex that both serve the site, a dangling DNS record pointing at a deleted service, or a missing DMARC policy that lets anyone send email as you.
These failures are invisible until they're expensive. We find them, fix what you approve, and set up monitoring so they don't come back.
Scope
What's included
Inventory & strategy
- Domain inventory and portfolio strategy
- Naming and architecture: apex vs www, subdomains vs subdirectories
- Subdomain and service organization
DNS, TLS & security
- Registrar and DNS configuration audit
- Dangling-record and subdomain-takeover checks
- HTTPS, certificate chain and HSTS verification
- DNSSEC and CAA assessment
Redirects & migrations
- One canonical host; single-hop 301s from every variant
- Domain migration planning
- Search-preserving redirect maps
Email authentication
- SPF, DKIM and DMARC audit with a staged rollout plan
- MTA-STS and TLS reporting where appropriate
Ongoing
- Renewal and expiration monitoring
- Certificate and DNS-change alerts
- DNS record management under authorized access
Deliverables
What you receive
- Domain inventory with owner of record, expiry and purpose
- DNS & TLS findings ranked by severity, each with a fix
- Email-authentication report and DMARC rollout plan
- Redirect & canonical-domain policy (and redirect map for migrations)
- Optional monitoring for expiry, certificates and DNS changes
Measured outcomes
What we report
- Critical and high findings before vs after
- Every host variant reaching the canonical host in one 301 hop
- All domains with auto-renew and more than 60 days to expiry, or a documented reason
- DMARC progression from none → quarantine → reject, backed by report data
How we work on this
You stay the owner. AIsideway is not a registrar, reseller or hosting provider. Audits are read-only by default. Changes happen only from an approved change list, using scoped, revocable access (for example a zone-scoped Cloudflare API token), with a rollback plan and a log of every change.
We often recommend Cloudflare for DNS — free DNSSEC, an API, redirect rules and bot controls on the free plan — but we'll work with your existing provider if that's the better fit.
What we won't promise
- Search rankings from DNS work alone
- To take custody of your domains or registrar accounts
